Help is here when you need it. Staff and peer advisors are available weekdays to assist students individually with academic planning, petition review, course selection, career pathway development and other matters related to the major and staying on course toward graduation.

Our office will not be having Drop-In Hours during Spring 2020

Drop-in appointments are appropriate for:

  • quick questions about class offerings and planning classes
  • discussing the ANT minor 
  • discussing how to get involved in the department through research 
  • discussing campus resources 
  • picking up or dropping off forms

 

Scheduled appointments should be reserved for: 

  • discussing in-depth academic planning (including creating an academic plan requested by the Dean's Office).
  • declaring a double major 
  • discussing post-grad opportunities (i.e. graduate school, career exploration, etc.)

 

Faculty advisors

You would consult with a faculty advisor if you are interested in discussing pathways for graduate school, undergrad research opportunities in the department, or course substitutions for the major.
