Following the campus guidelines for Coronavirus all UC Davis classes, lectures, seminars, labs and discussion sections will move to virtual instruction and remain virtual through the end of fall quarter 2020, including final exams. A.B in Evolutionary Anthropology

A bachelor of arts degree in anthropology with an evolutionary emphasis is designed for students who are interested in attaining a solid foundation in biological and cultural understanding.

This A.B. degree (from the Latin "atrium baccalaureus") is preparatory for careers in:

  • archaeology
  • museum curation
  • cultural resource management
  • historic preservation
  • community development
  • wildlife conservation
  • environmental and natural resources

 

The curriculum requires completion of 62 to 70 units (encompassing 19 to 22 units of lower-division preparatory subject matter and 43 to 48 units of upper-division depth subject matter, including electives).
